IdALL ("the App") is an AI-powered photo identification app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
Photos: When you use the Identify feature, your photo is sent to our server for AI processing. Photos are not stored on our servers — they are processed in real time and discarded immediately after the identification result is returned.
Device Identifier: We collect an anonymous device identifier for analytics purposes (usage tracking and service reliability). This identifier is not linked to your personal identity and cannot be used to identify you.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, browsing history, or any other personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
To generate an identification result, your photo is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection to one third-party AI service, selected by you in the app's Settings screen. The app prompts for your explicit consent before sending any photo to a third-party AI service for the first time. The available providers are:
Only the photo you select and, if applicable, the follow-up question text you type are transmitted. No account data, device identifiers, contacts, or location data are sent to these providers. Each provider's API terms prohibit using API-submitted content to train their models by default. Please review each provider's privacy policy for details.
IdALL does not collect, store, create, or use face data as biometric identifiers. The App does not use Face ID, ARKit face tracking, the TrueDepth camera API, Vision face-detection APIs, or any face-recognition technology. If a user photographs a person, the resulting image is treated the same as any other photo: it is transmitted to the selected AI provider solely to generate a general-subject identification (for example, "person" or a public-figure description), is not retained by IdALL, and is not used to build face templates, face embeddings, or any other biometric record. No face data is stored on device, on our servers, or shared with any third party.
Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Photos are not retained after processing. Anonymous device analytics logs are retained for up to 30 days for operational purposes.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
